Luke Quigley faces a race against time to be ready for round 8 of the British Superstock Championship at Brands Hatch at the weekend after a crash during testing.

The Astro Racing rider was at a track day at Rockingham earlier this week when he crashed going into the hairpin. Although able to walk away from the accident, Quigley received a large gash to his right elbow and injured his shoulder in the fall. Quigley has since received seven stitches in his arm and should be able to ride at Brands.

As the bike bounced end over end, it suffered substantial damage and Quigley and the team will now face a hectic few days in an attempt to get the bike ready for the Brands Hatch event.
