Stourbridge based race ace, Luke Quigley, is busily planning his assault on the
2010 British Superstock Championship. Having ended his 2009 campaign 6th
overall, Quigley has spent the last couple of months assembling a package which
will enable him to fight for the crown in the new year.
Quigley has now joined forces with his good friend and experienced Superstock
competitor, Matt Layt. The pair have secured a number of Suzuki GSX-R1000 K9s
for next year, the same machinery which claimed the Championship title last time
out.
"We have been really busy since the end of last season" remarked Quigley. "The decision to join up with Matt
for 2010 was an easy one, we have been good friends for a while and having a
team mate to share data with during the weekend will make it easier to get the
best out of the bikes."
"The Suzuki is a proven machine and the K9 won the championship last year. I
switched to ride one for the last three rounds of last season, so I already have
a good baseline from which to start. The bikes are currently being built and
prepared in race spec and then hopefully we can begin testing in the new year."
The team are now trying to secure all of the sponsorship needed to ensure they can
remain competitive through the 2010 season which is due to begin at Brands Hatch
on the 3rd/4th/5th of April.
